Our process commences with a telephone consultation to assess the necessity for our services. During the conversation, we provide a detailed description of the repair procedure and address any inquiries you may have. Sometimes, issues with your heating system can be resolved during this initial discussion! On arrival at your location, our first step is to verify the correct operation of the switchgear and control equipment. Next, we conduct tests on the heating cable to diagnose the specific fault within the circuit. This diagnostic process enables us to select the most appropriate equipment to accurately locate the fault to within a few millimetres. Once the fault is located, we assess the floor area that requires excavation to ensure that minimal disruption to the existing floor finish will occur during the reinstatement process. We then proceed to excavate the designated area with meticulous care, thoroughly clean the site and document the exposed fault with photographs. Finally, we repair the heating cable, take more photographs and ensure that the heating system is thoroughly tested and fully operational, prior to the reinstatement of your floor finish. Following the completion of our work, we provide you with an electronic copy of the invoice, along with photographs and a comprehensive report of our findings, including all recorded test results.
